Rom Vermunt

Rom Vermunt operates from his stable Rom Vermunt Dressage Horses, based in Geesteren (Overijssel). With many years of experience, he has developed into an all-round specialist in training, developing and producing dressage horses.

In addition to training a large number of horses, Rom is also actively involved in his own breeding and youngstock development, laying a strong foundation for future sport horses. His eye for quality and development is clearly reflected in this work.

Several approved stallions have been based at his stable, including Kyton, Ferguson and Roman Empire, underlining his ability to recognize and develop talent. He has also played an important role in the development of various successful sport horses, being at the start of the Grand Prix career of Kyton and the two-time World Championship horse Nero.

With his broad expertise — from breeding and rearing to training towards top sport — and his proven track record, Rom Vermunt is a valuable name within the dressage world and an important link within our auction.
